Sparkling Italian Wines
BACKGROUND
The Greeks referred to the entire Appenine Peninsula as Oenotria or 'Wine Land', a land of wines where regional differences can still be significant.
Although the Sparkling wines of Asti, in the West of Italy, have long been popular for their slight sweetness and low alcoholic strength, the Sparkling wines of Prosecco, in the East of the country, have only recently become prominent. In our PROSECCO CA' VITTORIA (Prosecco di Conegliano Valdobbiadene) we have a good, strikingly presented version from the best area of production.
