Alsace Wine
BACKGROUND
The wines of Alsace are unique. The use of mostly Germanic varieties of grapes produce dry wines in the French style. The proximity of this part of France to Germany can lead to confusion. Furthermore, in the German manner, it is the grape variety rather than the vineyard that receives prominence on the label.
Yet, where the Vineyard is mentioned, such as either of our Alsace single vineyard Grand Cru wines, PINOT GRIS GRAND CRU STEINERT or GERWUZTRAMINER GRAND CRU STEINERT, one is assured, TRULY, of an outstanding glass of wine.
