A Beaujolais Cru which greatly benefits from maturity. Deep colour with surprising richness on the palate, length, soft fruit and complexity. Serious and proper. Although purely Gamay grape, with good bottle age you would never know this was not Pinot Noir. Indeed the French have even coined an expression "se pinotiser" to describe the process.
